I just finished watching the third season of The Wire on dvd. If you haven't seen this series, you need to spend several hours absorbing it. With each episode, I feel myself contemplating the grey area between right and wrong and this is the area the show explores with great depth.
I watch a lot of television (a lot) yet from story to cinematography to acting The Wire is the best show on television. (And the episodes are consistently good.)
The fourth season begins tomorrow. If you have HBO, you can watch it. (If not, you can download it like I am.)
